8 - Hour Written Exam Study Class (BPAT Prep)

Hours: 8 (All classes 8 am – 5 pm unless otherwise noted)
This eight hour class is primarily designed to provide information relevant to the written exam to obtain a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester license to test and repair backflow prevention assemblies in accordance with TCEQ rules and state laws. *This class provides no TCEQ continuing education credit.
Individuals that have taken the 40 hour Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) class and have passed their practical (hands-on) exam but have not yet taken or passed the TCEQ BPAT Written Exam.
Must have successfully completed a 40 hour Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) class with practical (hands-on) exam.
Effective September 1, 2017, pursuant to TCEQ Reg-521 "Criminal History Guidelines", those with a felony criminal history should contact TCEQ Licensing Division prior to registering for a training course. Specific criminal history could negatively impact the ability to receive a TCEQ issued occupational license.
