Description:
This class will cover confined spaces in today's Water and Wastewater industry, including requirements for confined spaces, principle hazards involved in confined space entry, basic skills in hazard recognition and control, confined space assessments, fall protection systems, and rescue and retrieval requirements.
Completing this course provides continuing education credit for the following licenses:
8-hours of continuing education credit for Water System Operators
8-hours of continuing education credit for Wastewater System Operators

- Applicable regulations (29 CFR 1910.146, ANSI)
- Entry requirements and hazard recognition
- Proper use and limitations of equipment
- Care and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)
