Description

This class will begin with a review of basic math skills and move into formulas frequently used in the Water and Wastewater industry with an emphasis on preparing attendees to successfully pass TCEQ certification exams.  Students will need to bring a pencil, paper and calculator to class.  (Note:  TCEQ CEQ's not given for this class)

You'll learn how to solve the formulas listed below by walking through each formula step by step:

• Area in square feet (squares, rectangles, circles)
• Volume in cubic feet (squares, rectangles, cylinders)
• Chemical dosage
• Detention time 
• P.S.I. vs. height of a water column 
• Flow in a pipe
